Nexgard Spectra is an advanced version of Nexgard. The new formula treats fleas and ticks as well as controls heartworm infection. Nexgard Spectra also has the added benefit of treating and controlling intestinal worms including roundworms, hookworms and whipworms. The tasty beef flavoured chewable tablet is highly palatable and is easy to dose. The oral treatment is highly effective in protecting dogs against external and internal parasites. It treats fleas and controls flea tapeworm infestations. The oral treatment controls mites and prevents sarcoptic mange, demodectic mange and otodectic mange infestations in dogs. This heartworm control has two active ingredients Afoxolaner and Milbemycin oxime. The key ingredient Afoxolaner is a new generation ectoparasiticide that kills fleas and ticks. The other ingredient Milbemycin oxime is endoparasiticide that eliminates internal worms in dogs. Nexgard Spectra is a monthly treatment and is recommended to give to dogs and puppies from 8 weeks of age.
